10.2. Option to Take Exams for Lower Levels
10.2.1. Students enrolled in a higher-level EduQual diploma have the option to take exams at a lower level. This is optional and does not affect the eligibility for receiving the higher-level diploma. For instance, a Level 4 student may choose to sit for the Level 3 exam. However, they will need to pay the registration fee for the Level 3 exam in order to receive the Level 4 diploma certificate.

10.4.2. Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)

Upon payment of the diploma registration fee, students will be given access to a set of MCQs. These questions are designed to assess the student’s understanding of the core concepts covered in the course. The MCQs will be available for a period of 12 months, during which students are expected to complete them. To move forward in the examination process, students must achieve a 100% score on the MCQs. This part serves as the foundation for the next exam stage and plays a critical role in determining readiness for the oral exam.

10.4.3. Oral Examination

Once a student has successfully completed the MCQs with a 100% score and has fulfilled the requirement of completing at least 85% of the coursework, they will be assigned an oral examination topic. The oral exam assesses the student's ability to articulate and discuss the material in a structured and detailed manner. It serves to evaluate both the depth of their knowledge and their communication skills. Successful completion of both the MCQs and the oral exam leads to the award of the diploma.

10.5. Grading
10.5.1. MCQs and oral exams each carry 50% weight in your final grade.
